Weekend get away!

Jared and I took a weekend off and went to Farmington New Mexico and Durango Colorado to visit my sister Katie Jason and her three kids. It is always the best going there, if only it was not 24 hours away!!!! It is so pretty there!, but I think anywhere is pretty compared to Dallas!!

For those of you that do not know, Jared Graduated from Parker Chiropractic School, on April 18th! It was awesome!

Trip to Utah and California

Quin (Jared's brother) and Summer, got married in California at the Newport Beach temple. It was a really nice wedding and so fun to see Quin so in love!!

This is where Jared and I are moving!! On the beach in one of these houses. . . . .I wish!!

We, or should I say I went surfing one of the days we were there. My sweet husband didn't want to get in the water, it was to cold! ;-) I suck at surfing I swallowed way to much water, but it was still fun!

A Short Update

So really I have not updated in so long because there is really nothing to update. I am still at Neiman Marcus, work is going well, it gets a little rough after Christmas, but it usually picks back up next month. Jared is almost done with Chiropractic school, he graduates in April I am so happy for him, and proud of him for how much work and how many hours he puts in at school and the clinic! I think we are going to stay here in Dallas for another year before we up and move, Jared will Associate around here and I will keep working at Neiman's and then, maybe we'll open up a place, or buy a practice. I don't want to stay in Dallas to much longer I am ready for the mountains, or the ocean, or both, I will even take rolling hills!
Emily and Steve my oldest sister had another little one, his name is Zachary Joseph Clements. He is so sweet! that's five nephews and eight nieces, for Jared and I. It's so fun to have them close by!

On Thanksgiving we went to the Dallas Cowboys game. We went with My sister Katie her husband Jason, and my brother-in-law Steve. It was really fun!

This is my second year going on this diet/cleanse. It is not easy but I love the way I feel at the end of it. For 14 days you can ONLY eat fruit, raw veggies, water and this stuff called 'Abundance' it's mashed berries and nuts, (it's really good!) So last year I did it by myself, and this year I made Jared do it with me. So day 1 we weighed in and I told him it was not going to be a competition. Day 5 to Day 14 was a competition, I would not have cared if we were both strict about eating what we were supposed to. But I would call Jared on my lunch breaks while I was sitting there stuffing spinach, tomatoes and cucumbers down my throat. And he just finished a sandwich and chocolate chip cookies! .............................. He still ended up losing way more than me! Whatever, he sucks, guys can eat whatever they want, I should know that by now! Never again will I go on a diet with my husband!

It's been a while

So I have not posted for a long time, due to the fact that I have been doing everything but sitting down at the computer writing. Jared is super busy with school and only has 7 more months left!!!! YEAH;-) He is taking boards this weekend so is currently on the couch studying. This is where you will find him after a long day at school, and working in the clinic. We are trying to plan ahead and figure out where we want to go after he is done. I voted to stay here in Dallas at least at first, so that we can both be working, I really like my job here. Or maybe Arizona? back to Utah? we both really want to live in California but I just don't know if that is going to happen? We are open right now to wherever, We'll just have to see where Chiropractic takes us.

I have been working tyring to sell as many shoes, handbags and clothes to all of these pretty plastic women out here in Dallas. When I get done working out, tyring to learn how to cook dinner, I get sucked into the 'Twilight Series' which I am done and cannot find another good book to read..... any suggestions anyone???? Blogging is at the bottom of the list. But I will try to be better at it, I have been getting alot of complaints lately, betta!!;-)

So in a nut shell that is our life here in Dallas, there is the big Storm "Ike" that is coming our way so pray for the people in Texas hopefully we can all be safe!

My trip

These past two weeks have been so fun, I finally got some vacation time off work of course not when Jared could get off school, and whenever he gets a break from school I can't get off work! So while he stayed home, I flew to New Mexico where my sister and her family live. We went boating for a few days, I got up on the wake board after honestly falling 20 plus times, swallowing gross fishy water, and getting two huge bruises on both legs. . . ! Then we drove to Utah, I grew up there, and every time I go back I cannot believe how beautiful it is, I really miss the mountains! I got to see some of my 'best girlfriends'. My sisters and I had a blast hangin out! It was such a fun trip.... it was so nice to get away!

The weekend of the 4th we went out with Jared's friend Ryan and his wife Brittany, It was Brittany's birthday the week before and mine was the following Friday. So our boys decided to go dancing with us, something that Jared has never done with me or Ryan with Brittany. Us girls loved it!!!;-)

Guns

Jared wants a gun. He wants a Pistol or a Rifle, (I can pick) but thats all he tells me he wants for his birthday, for fathers day (he's not even a father) and christmas. Before we were married he told me instead of wearing a wedding ring he wants to wear a holster with a gun.;-) what a dork!

He REALLY wants one, and I just don't know if I want one hanging around our place, I don't know if it's because I didn't grow up around guns? He is from a small town and grew up hunting, and now we live in Texas where everyone has a gun and they all carry a gun around. So I just wondering what ya'll think??? I made a poll.......

Our little get away!

Jared and I just took a trip to Vegas, and St. George. We got to see the 'Phantom of the Opera', it was super fun! We were walking around the strip late one night and went down this long escalator outsides Bally's, when we got to the bottom of the escalator I heard this screaming and loud noise. When i turned around there was this lady falling head first down this long escalator. She had completely passed out, Jared ran over and grabbed her feet so they would not get caught in the bottom of the escalator. It was really scary, this lady finally woke up and there were plenty of people surrounding her that we left, i hope she was alright, it was quite the tumble! Anyways, we did have alot of fun, we got to see Jared's family in St. George and we went to Jared's brothers graduation in Cedar City. And relaxed it was really nice to finally get away.

Jared only has one more year left of Chiropractic school, and so I think that I only have one more year of work. He tells me I am so wrong, ha. But it helps to see some kind of end in sight, I do enjoy my job I work at 'Neiman Marcus' selling Ladies Shoes, I just got a promotion to be the Gucci, Prada and Chanel Representative so that is exciting. Jared goes to school everyday all day from 7am to 7pm. This tri he is in the out patient clinic so he starts on working on the public, he is really good at what he does and is a great adjuster. He is really smart, i try to help him study when he is craming for tests, but I just make it worse because I cannot even say the words they are way to long. Like, "Frontopomtocerebellar" are you kidding me!

So if any of you have read our blog before this, there were some posts, and when you read them it sounds like I am the one writing them and posting these pictures, but it was not me, it was my hilarious husband, at least he thinks he dang funny! :-)

This is the first time that I have posted anything, hopefully I will continue to post, don't count on it, because i just am not a computer girl, it takes alot for me to sit down at the computer to do anything other then check my bank account, and my email. But I will try my best to keep adding posts!
